• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

can't find a part number

I need a little help. (well that isn't true, I actually need a lot of help but that is a different issue) In my quest to figure out a way to mount my license plate after removing the rear fender I lost the lug cover for the left side of the rear wheel. One of my many fabricating attempts knocked it off a while back. Being the forward thinking guy I am, I thought, "Hey, I'll pull the one off the right side. You can't see that one due to my exhaust anyway." Brilliant idea eh? BRP had a little surprise for me. :yikes:There is a difference between the left and right side lug covers. I don't know what it is because I don't have the left one anymore but the right one is specifically labelled for the right side. I can't find the part number anywhere. Can't find it in the shop manual or online. Anybody know the part number for the left rear lug cover for a 2008 GS?

Tom, I just pulled the left side plastic cover off mine and the number inside reads 705501081. The right side number is a bit different. Hope this helps,---Brian.

Brian, I thank you my friend. Now I won't have to go out and find some poor Spyder sitting unattended. I can actually order the part from BRP.

No... I wouldn't really sneak one off of somebody's Spyder.

Unless I was certain I could get away with it!:roflblack:
