• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can't catch a break

Got a call from the dealer that my purge valve is in and today I get a new code: P0826 (shift up/down switch detection problem)

Bummer..!!

that does :cus: especially if they do not have a position sensor in stock. Seems to be a problem keeping parts in stock. If they are parts I am paying for I find my own. So far cheapcycleparts.com has come through...good luck..!! :banghead:

Hang around the forum long enough and you hear a lot about bad purge valves. For a part that just needs to open and close when nanny tells it to I find it hard to believe... More like the entire purge, and vapor collection system is faulty imo.

As many purge valves as dealers replace you'd think they'd keep a couple in stock.

Heading to to dealer today, we'll see how that goes.

Canister-ectomy will solve several problems, including the dreaded Purge Valve issue, forever.
