• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cannonball or Coast-to-Coast value/effectiveness

Greetings,

I am interested in any insight on the Cannonball and Coast-to-Coast seat(s) for an F3T.

Thanks in advance.

There are much better seats if you plan long rides.

I can highly recommend a Russel Day Long Saddle, custom made to fit YOU for about the same money as the BRP part. And MUCH higher quality.

I tried the Cannon Ball seat and liked it much more than the stock seat but needed a little more room and had a custom seat made with the stock seat pans. I am selling the cannon ball seat for $525 delivered, it has less than 300 miles of use. If you decide you'd like one and want to save $300 let me know. I have an ad on the 4 sale by owner page with pictures.

Cannonball going, Daylong coming

I kept the Cannonball for a couple of months to give if a fair go, but it's just not up to my 6'7" 300lb frame. After about 45 minutes the squirming starts.

I have ordered a Daylong, but due to the cost of shipping from "here" to "there", I will look at sourcing a second hand Cannonball from the US to send to Russell.

Pete
