There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Canam vs. Car

Sure glad you're okay--- that's one messed up looking Spyder......

Accident could have... and probably should have .... been much worse as far as your injuries......

Hoping for a quick recovery and I'm sure you'll be back on 3 wheels again soon!

Wow, scary, glad you're both ok. I carry a small insulated lunch pack that can hold plastic reusable freeze pack and about 3/4 bottles of water in the frunk. Stay cool all day.

Harry

:yikes: I'm glad to hear that this wasn't any worse than it was... I hope that you and your buddy both heal up quickly!

Those pictures are very scary. I'm glad you're ok. Glad the other rider's ok too.

GlassAct- The Butler Mug Holder

Glad to here you are not worse, looks like the spyder saved you.

These are made for the spyder and work very well. Fill with Ice and add water, when it is empty time to refil and get gas.

:agree: After my... incident :opps:, I've come to the conclusion that the Spyders will actually behave a bit more like a car than they do a motorcycle during some types of collitions... In a frontal collision, they'll try to stay upright and take the impact back through the fame of the bike. This will somewhat attenuate the forces of the impact. But now; you're bouncing around like an unbelted person in a car... :yikes:

So glad you are OK...Spyder looks real bad....you are one lucky guy....staying hydrated is work...but you got to do it.....glad you are OK

OMG that is a nasty accident!!! Glad your ok!! hurt and bruised but ok. Invest in a "camel back" it's a 2 liter water bottle in a backpack with long tube for drinking on the go and has straps like a back pack so it will go over any of your gear. Keep it filled with ice and some water and you can get thru the heat. I used mine all the way to and fromDurango with temps at 107 on one bank and 102 at the DQ!!! I stopped at the "cooler" place and cooled off inside!!! Constantly taking water even if the tube part of that water was hot!!!! could have had hot tea with THAT water!!! bit of a pain to swallow hot but eventually get the cold stuff. Saved my butt a couple times. I have had all the heat issues. cramps, exhaustion and stroke. I DON'T DO HEAT!!!! Please take care and hope insurance takes care of you. Wonder if the car driver was going really fast??? IF so they sure did the stop right now thing. Must have scared them pee green seeing that spyder heading at them.

On Saturday returning from escorting a young G.I. home with the Warrior Watch Riders I had a brief moment of loss of conciousness due to the heat index temperature of 111, I came to conciousness laying in the grass after a head on collision with a sedan.
I am doing well, I was blessed enough to have left the hospital with only minor brush burns and bruises, and aches and pains. My Canam was not as lucky :(:(:(.

Buddy you got someone watching over you. nojoke

Glad you're okay and are here to talk about it. I can relate to waking up somewhere you weren't expecting but never anything like that.

wow man, glad your ok.:thumbup:Looks like everyone was in short sleeves/ shorts, were ya wearing helmets? Man that is scary.....wow incredible. With that kinda luck I would go to Vegas  It's hot there too, but you could hit the jackpot!

After viewing the pictures, it's clear you were very lucky, and someone was watching over all of you! Glad to hear you're okay!

Not to throw any kinks into the "hydration" theory which I am sure is correct. But I would make sure you are "checked out" to ensure there is not anything else in play. In Canada it is not uncommon for the Insurance Company or the Police Department to require this to be done before they will allow you back on the road. I would look at it like an "intermittent" bike repair that doesn't want to repeat itself, make sure you cover off and check all possibilities?

Glad to hear no one was injured badly as I assume the car driver was OK.
