I got the 2011motorcyclesurvey postcard yesterday. There was a PIN# (which is redundant: PIN stands for Personal Identification Number # also stands for number) the card was obviously designed by a political science major, you know the one who uses the ATM machine. :roflblack:


At any rate, I had nothing better to do while waiting for dinner, so I took the survey. It seemed fairly legit. No gotcha type questions. Since I am a :spyder: owner, ended up answering questions about options for :f_spider: don't know what would have happened if I said I was a Harley owner. Didn't get booted because my age was to large a number and income to small a number.

They said I had a chance to win $500, but then I also have a chance to get hit by lightening too :roflblack:.

Got the same one today but did say I was a Harley owner (and Spyder owner) didn't kick me out on that or age (66).

There is no question pertaining to the spyder, only atv's and side-by-sides. However, you can win all 3 (atv, side-by-side, and roadster). Good luck.

I got what i think is the same survey about two months ago, As soon as i punched in my age[66] They ended the questions and said goodbye, but your still eligible for the 5 hundred. [yea right]

I got the Can-Am giveaway card and it wont go through on the site. Keeps telling me I did not fill in certain values and I DID! Looks like one person commented on this, anyone else having this trouble and what did you do?

I did have the same problem. I forget now, you did have an option for 'none' as the answer to some of the questions, right? One or two of those where I answered 'none', I had to change to a different answer. In other words, you have to lie your way through it.

No questions about miles--just generic questions about brand knowledge, what I was expecting from my most recent purchase, etc.

With my luck, I will probably not win the $500. You are safe again Bob.

Horrible questionnaire...typical Can-Am fashion...have to fill in all the boxes even if you put in 'no' for one of the answers above and all the questions below are only answered if you put in a 'yes' for above.

Of course nobody won...likely one will win out of 15,000 or so cards sent out...figure the winning person will get theirs in the mail and throw it in the trash...oh well...

I got the card offering the three vehicles: the ATV, the Commander, and an RS.

I lost.

I'm somehow not upset by this. :dontknow:

I live in the city. While I'd love the ATV and the Commander, nothing could be more useless to me right now. And I already *own* an RS. Which means that had I'd won, I'd probably have gifted one of those away and sold the other two to pay off the taxes .

Woulda been a nice problem to have though!

I ran into these same problems and couldn't get past the error message even by filling in bogus info. I don't own and ATV and don't intend to buy one but it won't accept those answers. I've already spent more time on it than I should have I suspect. Even being retired my time is worth something.

Got my card today, the same people that did their website did the questionaire, small boxes, not all in the same column, not real well marked, took me 4 tries to get through it; no surprise, no win.

I got the give away card too, but can't get the web site listed (www.can-amgiveaway.com) to come up. Keep gettting old giveaways or various forums talking about atv's.

edted: weird computer of mine brought up the web site once I cliked on above. Went thru their survey but couldn't get an answer; kept asking about what atv's I own .....none..... more trouble than its worth AFAIC.

I got into the site. There's a box to select your country. Only two are listed, the USA and Canada. Tough luck on us handful of Brits who have bought into the Can-Am dream. We get nuthin, as per usual. No sponsored rallies, no pins, no patches, sweet FA. Do I care? Yup, I do, it would be nice to get a little recognition from BRP, at least that we Brit Spyder riders exist. Meanwhile, North American cousins, I hope somebody ends up winning the money... you can rest easy that it won't be me. :sour:
