• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can you identify this extra Spring - license plate maybe?

So, I found a spring laying behind my bike today in the garage. Pic attached, key for scale. I *assume* that maybe it's some sort of tensioner the dealer put under the wing nut on the license plate bolts, as I finally received my license plate and swapped it out the other day. I didn't notice anything fall while doing that, but that's the only thing that makes any sense to me. If that's it, the other one is probably sprung somewhere in the garage, and I'll have to look for it. But, I wanted to see if any of you recognized it to put my mind at ease.

I agree. It looks just like the spring tensioners on the reflective button license plate screws on our Spyders. As you said, it mounts on the rear side before screwing on the wing nut.
