• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can you feel the heating element in your RT Ltd 2023 heated seat?

Hi,

When you rub or press on the middle of your RT's driver seat, do you notice a small lump or mass? It seems I can feel the heating element. My dealer informed me that BRP stated this is normal and how they are manufactured. The technical advisor confirmed BRP's statement after inspecting his demo. I will pick up my machine tomorrow night; but I'm curious to know about yours?

During the same trip they resolved the reverse issue by replacing the actuator.

:coffee:....I was told that by my local Spyder Dealer too.
I really don't like the look or feel of the wiring on the seat.
For me the 'butt feel' was terrible

The fix is a different type of seat.
Or something else like a cover.
I decided to go with the cover.

Honestly, I don't feel anything when I sit on it, and I find the seat much more comfortable than my previous Goldwing.

Its my wife, who notices everything, spotted it a week ago... Geeezzz I've washed it five times and ridden it for 3000 miles, and I never feel a thing, ;)
 
It's there, but I don't feel it. It is apparently glued to the bottom side of the seat cover. Laam/Day Long actually cut around it and reuse it on their seat builds.

I can confirm that the technician was truthful; every seat I inspected this morning has that lump. All is well now.
