• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can we clear codes?

When I was working on my bike this weekend I started the engine and let it run for awhile with the front trunk off of the bike. Well it turns out the "ambient air" temp sensor is linked to the map sensor somehow, ground circuit I bet? Anyway it set 2 codes for the ambient air sensor and the map sensor. Now every time I start the bike it warns me about the codes then it goes away and never returns until the next start up. Will unhooking the battery clear em out?

Turn the key on and off three times w/o starting I hear will do it. Then pull the key, spin around 3 times the bike. One of these is a true statement. (I actually did all of the above one time and it worked).

Make sure everything is connected and go for a drive.
The drive will convince the Spyder that all is well.
The code will actually be stored and only BUDS can clear it but you won't be annoyed by it.

Your right... I did a short ride last night and sure enough they are gone this morning. Next time i'm at the dealer i'll have them clear em out.

Great..!!

your dealer should clear them at service. They should check for codes when its there anyway. They can be stored with no problem till then..I do my own work and just run by and have them hook up to buds give me a printout and clear codes if any...
