• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can this be true?

It's a wolf spider, that much is true,as for it getting that big, not a chance. Nice photo shop though. We have those come onto our porch whenever its warm. Have to be careful before squishing them that they don't have babies on their backs, that's how they carry the hatchlings, because the babies scurry everywhere.

Not sure about the spyder but can attest to the fact that the mosquitos are so big down there they save the little people for snacks.

I don't believe it. If this were New Mexico, circa 1950's then I would believe it. Remember the movie "THEM". All about giant nuclear mutated ants.

Just aTexas spider

Oh, that little thing? Wait till it grows up. The damn webs are the real problem. Our mosquitoes have license plates.

Texas big..!!

Lived there for a number of years. They do things big in Texas but if that were for real it would have gotten farther than facebook and the internet. :roflblack:

Boy, I learned that lesson the hard way when I stepped on one in the house and a gazillion babies started scattering in every direction :spyder::spyder::spyder:...shocked the :cus: out of the person I was talking with on the phone when I screamed, in fact! :yikes:

Funny you say that. When I was very young. Talking lower single digit here. I stomped on one on our front porch. Hey, it was a spyder, right. And to my surprise a thousand 'little spyders' scattered everywhere(well to a little guy it seemed like a thousand) Anyway, have never forgotten it, not sure why? After all these years it's nice to know this was likely the 'brand' of spyder. I've oft wondered.

This is the real Angolan Witch Spider.

The Wolf is very common. We had one in our house several years ago. I went to pick it up to put it outside and didn't realize she was carrying her babies. They scattered!! Up my arm and on the floor. I had to wait for all of them to come back before I could put them outside. By the way, wolfies can be confused with grass spyders. We have wolfies in our garage and they do get in the house. I have to get them before the cats do :lecturef_smilie:

My understanding they get rid of those after 3 mile island accident I didn't realize some survived. We have to report them to the nuclear advisory board or to proper authority to eliminate them for good. :yikes::yikes:If they reach the Big Texas meaning that dangerous.:pray:I cannot be sure if they can fin all of them. No secret TEXAS is BIG:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:.We might call the ghostbuster team:roflblack::roflblack:
