• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am sure it was a Messerschmitt built for a few years in the early 1950's. It would be either 175cc or 200cc two stroke - 60+ mpg. The car was used as a "personal transporter" for the character of Sam Lowry in the cult film Brazil where it appeared to be powered by a small jet engine. In the film the car was destroyed by fire. Cousin Itt drives one in the 1991 film The Addams Family.

Yep, you're right

The Peel 50 was tested on the TV show Top Gear and the video is an absolute classic.

Jeremy Clarkson drives the peel p50 – he says “the best car we have ever had on Top Gear.” The bit where he drives it into the elevator and up to his office is great!
