• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can someone help me or direct me???

I need help removing my rear fender. I have searched for a step by step or tips and didnt see anything. Is there a link or thread about this I am missing. I removed the side panels to replace my battery and I want to get it all out of the way while she is taken apart.

If the above link doesn't work, do a search for arntufun, then click on his link in his signiture line. He's done an entire video series on breaking down an RS/GS

Sorry bout that, but you'll have to do the leg work on this one

But if you go toward the top right side of the screen, you'll see a rectangular white SEARCH box, that's your friend on here. I typed in 'rear fender removal' and got bunches and bunches of threads as displayed in the following link. I went thru a few to see if I could find step by step, but don't have enough time to go thru them all, but hopefully you'll be able to find it there. Good luck.

Assuming you have an RS, there are 4 bolts on top of the fender that hold it in place. Remove the tail light first, then the bolts.
The rear fender is 2 pieces. Under the plastic fender there is a steel fender. The 4 bolts hold both pieces. Be careful of the tail light wiring. It is sandwiched between the 2 pieces and can get pinched when you put it all back together. I know this first hand.

If you have an RT, I can't help you.
