• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can I use End Dust to clean my Spyder RT windshield?

Can I use end dust to clean my windshield as I have issues with anything with a strong odor.
Thanks

For a light cleaning I use a California duster, mini duster. Works great and doesn’t leave scratches. I also have an old one that I use for cleaning the brake dust off my wheels.

May leave a film on the windshield. I use a product called Plexus, it's cleans and protects, you can buy it online! I use it on my whole bike, and snowmobiles!!

I mix 50/50 hydrogen peroxide and water in a spray bottle. Spray windshield, let soak with a damp micro fleece towel draped over it for 5 minutes. Wipe it down with damp micro fleece towel. Everything will come right off. Then I spray pledge and use a dry micro fleece to buff it. Crystal clear and cheap!

Except for the " F-4 " brand of windshields I would be very careful what chemicals you use to clean any plexi / acrylic windshield. Once a windshield gets a HAZE on it it's toast ...imho .... Mike

For you stay away from the pledge, strong lemony smell. I'd go with the hydrogen peroxide and water. So simple but it works. Mix up spray bottle to keep with you.
