• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can I unplug the parking brake module - need micro switch part#

I know there are several posts on the parking brake, but I can't find them for some reason. My micro switch handle fell out and now there seems to be no limit switch; the pulley makes a full round and the cable jumps out! While I do ride a manual, I still like to set the parking brake.

Also, can I unplug the module & stop that beeping while I wait on parts, if I ever find a number for them?

Hey Tom. If by "handle" you mean that little arm, with the little roller on it, that pushes down on the switch button - then here's your part number:

710001379

It's the same micro switch that is used for the brake pressure switch, So that's why it will be called brake pressure switch in the parts list. Just drill out the two little rivets and remount the new one with screws.

Unplug the beeper? Waste of your time. Comes from the cluster, I believe. Not a stand alone unit. You'll get used to it.

Thanks. That's the one I'm looking for.
