• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hearing a lot about a sub $400 trailer from harbor freight that seems 2 be about the same size & design as the 10x more expensive can am 622 trailer. Does anybody have one. Any advice? Thanks for your input

Sure, you can pull any trailer behind a Spyder. You just need a hitch and wire it up. I agree BRP trailer's are about $2000 too much. I have seen some of the Harbor Freight trailers at some of the events, they are fine and the price is great.

The limitation to pull a trailer with the RT is 40 lbs tongue weight and 400 lbs draw weight. Just about anything that fits inside of that should be ok.

I pull a Harbor Fright trailer and have had no problems just look it over when you get it home there are problems with the wiring but if you fix it up front and change out the LED tail lights you should be happy I also have a post that shows the parts you will need to acquire to get it wired.

The Tag Along trailers from HF have been around for a while. A quick google search will turn up many mods performed by both motorcycle and trike owners. There is an excellent write up on one of the Goldwing sites. $369 on sale and they will honor coupons. With my 25% off coupon it was $286 out the door. I added a thin plywood deck inside with auto carpet and replaced the mounting bolts with eyebolts to attach bungee cords to secure cargo. I painted the top and the fenders in pearl white to match my trike. Even with the upgraded lights and painting still around 1/10 the cost of a 622 (which is sweet and I am not knocking by any means) which leaves more $$ for trips.

I agree. bought and built mine this spring ... made its maiden voyage to Spyderfest ... absolutely NO problems ... getting ready for the owner's event later this month!

holds everything I need ... all I want ... and has room left to buy stuff.

upgraded to led light kit ... put on a brp hitch ... wired right up, no problems!
