• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can anyone ID this lefover part from Dealer delivery?

Thanks for the lead on the baterry cover. Not real pleased to have to pull the panels to put it on! Guess I'll get that check in the block earlier than I planned:gaah:

Dealer where i bought it is 130 miles away.

I found one in my trunk also, the question is what function does it serve and does it need really need to be installed:lecturef_smilie:. Dale

Mines not on either. Found it in the trunk. If it truly is a battery cover, only function I can suspect would be to keep some heat(insulation)on the battery during the cold months. Being that I'm in a hot climate, mine will stay off. And if you're using a tender during lay up, the battery will build heat anyway.

Maybe the cover is installed from the factory to prevent the cables from touching the battery posts and it's supposed to be removed during dealer setup? Too many are too quick to automatically assume the dealers fawk up everything
