• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi folks, new RT-S ownwer here.
Just got the Spyder home from the Dealer and found this "leftover" part in the forward trunk. :yikes: Wondering if anyone recognizes this flexible rubber panel with a panel push-pin in it? Looks like some kind of splash guard or mud flap.

Thanks!

Strongly suspect that it is a piece of the packing material that was to be discarded after removing the Spyder from the crate for assembly. Send the pic by email to the dealer and they will be able to tell you toute suite.

Definately not the bottom splash pans. It's made of thin, pliable rubber. More ike a splash/dust guard for electronics.

Figured if all of these folks haven't run across it doing their Lamonster / Spyderpop mods or routine servicing, then it cant be too important.

Does make for a good Spyder trivia challenge. :banghead:

Part leftover

Yup, it is from the crate! I watched the the assembly tech assemble mine for 3 hrs and it is from the crate.

YEAY ! We have a WINNER

I didn't think it was anything important

Thanks guys! Really dig the Forum and all of the DIY fixes and info.

Thin pliable rubber?

Must be the thingy you're supposed to put around the handlebar base to catch the screws you'll loose when you swap out your gauges...
