• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can anyone help identify this part?

See photos. It came off while removing the left side footrest assembly. When I removed it, I thought it was in the wrong place. It clearly has two connecting points, but we could not find where it would go. Any help will be appreciated.

Ya, I think there is a post somewhere about putting your year make and model in your sig!! ;) It does help! Looking at the captured nuts, I would have to guess it's stiffing something up that has been removed. When you took the last bolt out it fell on the floor! Just a guess, good luck!

Would help if you stated what year, model spyder it came from?
Sorry, it's a 2017 Spyder RT.

I. know, but I haven't been able to find it. Thought I had done that at one time.

I took a look at this. Thanks for the link. The part that seems to be where I need to look is a mess on my laptop. I can't see the part for the part numbers.

You are right. I didn't know it was there. It was like someone had used it to hold a bolt, but it was not meant for that because it should have done something else.

I was just looking at the picture, and I think it's the panel support#705007375!
What panel? I can find the reference but not the picture that shows where it goes. I thought it may be support for a panel but for what panel and where? It must have something it connects that is capable of giving panel support. I assume by panel you mean the plastic covering.

What were you unscrewing when it fell out? If I had my 2012, I would take the cover off and tell you where it go's, maybe, BRP don't like changing things up much so and I'd be willing to bet it would have the same bracket! If it is that bracket, I think it is it may be attached to that end bolt on the point of your footrest support what it attaches to on the other side I would have to be there to figure out! Most of the times when you look at a schematic like that, they show you in sequence where the part may be! Good luck!
