• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can Am Spyder Lift.

Please do post a review and take some pics of putting it together, loading it and using. I too am considering this lift.
He told me it should ship in a couple of weeks, so as soon as I have a free weekend I will take some pics and post them in this thread!:thumbup:

I first bought a very popular lift and the first time I put my $30k spyder on it and noticed how much it moved I told myself "There is no way I am getting under this!" Then found the trike table lift by Redline Engineering and ordered it and have used it many times in the past month with no safety concerns. Designed to handle up to 1500lbs although I know it was tested for up to 2500lbs.

Hi All from way down under (NZ) I am just about to pull the trigger on a big blue lifter and have read all the feeds on this forum. Can anyone that has one of these lifter now give me a progress report on how they are working out for you . Cheers Richard

I have the Big Blue lift and Spyder stabilizer kit. It is absolutely awesome to use and work with. It lifts my '17 RTL to chest height and makes working on it a breeze. I bought it after trying one of the ATV lifts for a while which was handy but not stable enough. Its easy to operate and can be hand operated with a ring spanner (doubles as a workout) or the preferred method a 5/16" Hex to 1/"2 Square drive for your favorite cordless drill and a socket.

You attach it to the swing arm under the shock, and you remove the Right floorboard (RTL) to anchor the floorboard mount.

I have one issue - and its of my own doing - the lift wont fit under my RTL. I have to lift it a little with the ATV lift, onto blocks, then swap the ATV lift with the Big Blue, then reverse the process. All because I went with a lower spring kit for my Wilbers Shocks.

Thanks Askitee , Sounds good and looking forward to changing swaybar and suspension when it arrive but coming from the UK so as they go back into lock down this week I'm not sure how long it may take to get to me.

Thanks for that ,watched your video before going ahead . So do you prop your bike up with anything else once up in the air and is it quite safe to work under with out any other support

I have one to sell! 1/2 of new, or interesting trades. Used once, then we sold that bike. Set up for an RT. Perfect condition. Joe
