• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Email them back...
Ask them if they can cash your Welfare Checks... you'll send them to them, as soon as you're released from jail! :D

That shuts them up! :roflblack:

Not so fast. A quick Google search of the phone number comes back to some 4 wheel drive company: http://www.emiratesdesert.com/index.php. I would do a little more research before blowing them off. It would be a shame to lose out on a contact like that. Of course a scammer could be using their company as a front to confuse you. But the website looks real.

Hard call without some research. So many fraudulent transactions with wire transfers always present a problem when you have to furnish account numbers.

Can this transaction be directed to Paypal or something similar?

Doesn't it seem strange that their entire website is done in English and not Arabic or whatever language they speak?

The website is genuine as are the 'phone numbers.

Don't get Emirates business confused with the a$$holes of !$!$ who
would love to tears these businesses down because you're not allowed
to have fun!
FWIW Emirates is the best airline in the world bar none....

EDIT : The language thing.....lotsa different arab dialects in the UAE as many if not most
of the companies are not local including, of course US and European companies and like
always the default written language is English.
This company can be contacted via their webmail here:

Me 'em do PayPal. That way you are insulated. Alot of money over there! Might turn out to be a good source. (Hopefully they don't ride any '13's over there and blow themselves up in the heat) :yikes:

I'd inform them that you don't carry what they want and may be show them your fine range of merch
that you could help them with.
I've worked for a couple of big British companies that supplied goods to Abu Dhabi businesses over the
years.......since the early 70s in fact when they were still building the place!

I did contact them using their contact page and copied the spam so they would know.
