• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can-Am Manuals

I read a posting on this forum about if any one has paid for an online manual from Can-Am Manuals http://canammanuals.com/index.htm and no had until now. I bought a manual from them ,cost was 23.50 for a 2010 Spyder Rt and RT622 Trailer manual. I was confused as I got a cover page on the manual that reads that it is a Green Manual from a seller on E-Bay. I tried to e-mail Green Manuals and the e-mail address does not exist. As far as the down load went it was simple and straight forward, just one word of caution before you start to download you will need Adobe latest version in order to open up your manual once you have down loaded it. Once you buy the manual you have access for 3 weeks to multiple downloads on the same computer in case you have problems in the near future.

The manual is of good quality and you are warned before hand that some pages are faint due to being reproduced. I found that the printed pages are not that faint that you cannot read them. The diagrams are of good quality. I got over 1100 pages of information. There is also manuals for 2012, 2013 models at $28.50

This is not an endorsement for this manual, it is JMHO and was also curious about Can-AM downloadable manuals and wanted to try it.

Manuals

I have the cd version and the download version of the Spyder manuals from GreenManuals and they both came with the latest version of Adobe necessary for their operation. For whatever reason, the downloaded version works smoother regardless whether it is from my hard drive or my thumb drive. Curious no? Oh, I also have the downloaded version of the Yamaha Morphous manual as well, from the same source, and it works just fine. That was my experience, and I'm well pleased.

Techmaster manual

I just got the Techmaster version of the 2013 spyder service manual....Excellent. Also he says if you bought this manual from another seller...Then they could be reselling his work. If you are interested in checking out the Techmaster manual.....PW2013STL has a post on it in the spyder ST forum.

I Also JUST downloaded the 2012 RT for $27.50 (Techmaster)- May need to get Adobe X to open it like I did???
Looks Great- Hope I don,t have to open it much but nice to know where to look.
I burned it to CD-R and ALL is fine.

PS: There are about 3 sites with the 20 year experience theme and They seem to ALL be the same Distributor!!

Now to go to Dealers again and sit on an ST????

I agree with you even Can-Am Manuals has the same theme and also that site directs to another site called www.repairmanualspro.com with the same theme. My manual works fine and has all the updates for my 2010 spyder Rt and Rt 622 trailer and is 1168 pages long and works fine. I have a mac computer and used the latest version of Adobe to open it.

I was at my dealers the other day and was offered a test ride on a new yellow St , I politely declined as I new if I did it could be coming home with me:yikes:
