Can Am Hitches back ordered?

Has anyone heard of the Can Am hitches being back ordered? We called our dealer on the 9th of Nov to setup an appointment to purchase a Hitch and have it installed. The hitches were back ordered with an EEye of 12/2. Called them today, Eta is now 12/28. Just wondering.... Thanks

It took us a long time to get ours this spring... they had the same story then too...

I still think that they should bundle them with the trailers.

Honda East (a site sponsor) and talk to their internet sales department. If it's in stock, you'll have in a couple of days and then take it to your dealer to be installed. Be sure to tell them you're a Spyderlover to get their best price.

I also tried ordering a hitch today. Was told it was back ordered and the guy said he would call me back. Have not heard from him so I will call him in the morning and let you all know what I hear.

Try the dealer in Springfield. They had oil change kits when others said they were on back order.

I waited 2 1/2 months to get a back rest when I bought my Spyder RS-S it in 2011. They have a really poor parts distribution system. That's IMHO.

I called a few days ago and was told they are on back order until the end of the year and to call back after New Year.

There isn't any difference in model application for the BRP hitch. Once upon a time, there was a Corbin hitch that worked with their saddlebags for the RS.

Sorry but you are incorrect. As you can see by the 2015 catalog. If the ST hitch is available and the OP needs the hitch right away. He has the option of ordering the ST hitch for the extra $50 and have some extra brackets leftover.

Saw several RT hitches on eBay this morning!
