• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can Am Givi R-35 Saddle Bag Kit issues

Baytown

G'day fellas. I'm in the middle of trying to fit my genuine Can AM R35 Saddlebags and fitting kit which has turned in to a mongrel of a job due to the substandard instructions from Can Am. The front left and right supports (Parts P12 and P13) don't even get a mention in the instructions re their placement (no pages missing), and I can't for the life of me work out where they fit on the frame.
Has anyone fitted this saddle bag kit themself? If so, any advice one the placement of these brackets would be really appreciated.
You also have to remove the rear indicators to relocate them, but the left hand unit won't separate from its lock nut, resulting in the whole threaded shaft turning with the nut. WD40, pliers etc and no joy. I can see I'm going to have to sacrifice it to get it off the panel. The right hand unit came away ok.
Thanks for any advice re the mounting brackets folks, and any photos of the mounting location of the front brackets would be really appreciated if possible.

Best wishes.

Ken
