• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can Am communication vs Sena or similar

I am looking at a new 2016 RT Spyder and currently my bike has the Can Am communicating system. I do a lot of 2 up riding with my wife and really like the intercom. Should I look at putting the Can Am system back in or just switch over to a Bluetooth system like a Sena. I have no experience with the Bluetooth system and wanted to get some feedback.

Thanks

Forget the 1990s wired helmet and go with top end Bluetooth. Much clearer comms and much easier to add other functions like CB, phone, music etc.

My vote is Sena. No problem in 3 years. Dont buy their bottom of line.

How does that Sena 10 or 20 work with other riders? Are there stations or frequencies to tune in etc. ?

You can pair with any other Sena headset. No matter the model. Because headset makers do not use BT to communicate headset to headset. They are not compatible with headset communicators of other brands. Sena does offer a mode to pair with a headset of another in BT. Not very practical but it does work.

Sena 10c

Sena 10c works for me and no problems at all with it. I have had it for just over a year now.
