I've owned mostly FirstGear stuff and have been very happy with them. I rock out the Kilimanjaro jacket and HT overpants in the winter (plus Gerbing liner and gloves for the *real* cold days), and have a Mesh Tex jacket and HT mesh pants for the summer.
I also liked my pair of Draggin' Jeans for the spring/fall months, or under my overpants when I wanted to do more "technical" riding.
I've also owned a LeatherUp armored leather jacket, was my first jacket. Can't say I was thrilled with it-- HOT in anything over 75-- and the quality was good for the price but not great (buttons rusting in the rain, fun). But again, the price is right.
Now that I've lost a lot of weight, I'm going to have to buy all new gear this spring/summer, I'm just trying to hold off for as long as possible so I don't have to buy new gear *again* anytime soon. My brother gave me a hand-me-down pair of textile pants that he bought during a HD ride in the Alps a few years ago-- VERY nice armored pants, can't remember the brand but it's not sold here in the states-- that will fit me nicely soon enough, but alas, I still need a new jacket.
I like the Kilimanjaro, I might buy the new one, but I'm actually leaning towards picking up an Olympia, or even switching to some British Motorcycle Gear if I can afford it (love love LOVE their old school touring leathers... just hate the $$$!).
