• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Camping- without trailer. How do you pack for two?

Packing

What gear do you take?
How do you pack it?
Etc...

Nancy's Toys posted a link to micapeak.com for packing for a motorcycle trip. Its very helpful. If you have the luggage with your spyder, I found that spacebags are handy when I stay in motels. Or you can get those bags that you roll and get all the air out.

One credit card
two toothbrushes
two changes of underwear
two pair of socks

Buy what you need and throw out the rest!

A Helen2Wheels clothes bag and/or Seal-Line bag helps a lot (if you are traveling alone). Without the extra space of a trailer, pack as if you were backpacking. Don't carry anything you don't absolutely need. If you have to think about it, you don't need it! If you pack as though you were going to have to hike 20 miles carrying the stuff on your back, you'll be about right. The motorcycle camping checklist at www.micapeaks.com is great, and adaptable to your individual needs. there are also a couple of good books on motorcycle camping.
