Calling all WI and N. IL riders to Spyderfest

I just wanted to start a thread for all riders traveling down interstate I-39 and I-55 to Spyderfest. If you’d like to get together maybe a group or two can be formed here.

I will be leaving Rockford, IL on Tuesday evening and stop for the night in Normal/Bloomington Il. After having my kidneys fail in ’07 and getting a transplant I’m not sure I have the energy for making the drive down in one day. I have free hotel nights so I thought I would save my energy for all the great activities at Spyderfest.hyea:

I was hoping that I could meet up with other riders on Wednesday for the trip to Cuba. I want to be there to check in and attend the meet and greet and the evening meal. My schedule is flexible at this time. Anybody want to meet up for the drive in Normal or along the way?

Our plans are still fuzzy but right now we're thinking of leaving Tuesday evening and stopping somewhere for the night as well.

Or maybe leave Wednesday morning and going all the way thru to the hotel and VIP dinner ('bout 400 miles). :dontknow:

Should be a good test of our new Kontour Seats!

Of course our plans are very flexible so if anyone might be heading down 55 through (or hopefully around) Chicagoland maybe we'll adjust to have some company and share the highway with other Spyder brethren.

SNY I had my days off. I will be leaving Tuesday night and finishing the drive on Wednesday. It's a little early to make final plans but mybe we can meet up Wednesday morning in Normal, IL were I-39 and I-55 meet.

We're leaving Wed. morning non stop to Cuba. Plan on making the meeting Wed. nite. Have reservations at Super 8. 39 is not but 25-30 miles from our house in Norway, IL. and may be the way we go.
