• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Calling all Scorpio SR-i900 owners... placement help

Hi to all that reply, I am looking for a place to fit the MCM and above the battery seems to be the logical option, however, this would require the MCM to be mounted upside down... has anyone else done this, and if so, does the shock sensor/accelerometer still function properly?
Second... the engine kill module... I have learned that the negative wire from the fuel pump may be the best option here... does anyone have a picture of the above mentioned wire, or a wiring diagram????

Thanks in advance

Place the main control module INSIDE the square tube frame accessible from the tail light area.
Place the permitier sensor under the seat on the flat part about 4-5" to the right of the gas cap.
As for the Engine kill... I have not done that yet.

I have a Talon alarm. I put my main unit (up-side-down) to the right of the battery in that open area. It will work fine as long as it is not on its side. The parameter sensor got fitted under the seat next to the gas shock.

In Australia we have "another" box already fitted there for the reversing light that our "Law Makers" think we just have to have.:chill:

I have the SR-900i installed on my Spyder. There are no issues with it being placed upside down. I have the rear rack installed so found the best place to put the MCM was in the cavity above the battery.

To get the best reception for the remote I ran the antenna up through the rear rack and drilled a hole to pass it through and into a 6" rubber duck.
