Calliber Jacket review

I was asking about these and decided to by a set for my wife and I (eBay). I also bout some CE rated triple foam armor(Amazon). I did have to trim it for my wife's jacket (easy) but fit mine perfectly. You would think for the price it should be included. I do not think I would pay full price ($259 each) but got them both+ armor for $360. These are the most expensive clothes I ever bought but I have Caliber pants in both textile and leather I bought for under $50 so my gear collection is now complete including 2 First Gear summer mesh suits (that did come with sub par First Gear Temperfoam) I do have to say they are pretty impressive jackets with zip out liners that fit perfectly and comfortable. I bought XL since I have a 38 waist. I have yet to try them out but I am sure they will be my go to 3 season jacket. They look better in person than the picture and have good reflection on them and match my Mag silver bike. Over all I give them a thumbs up. Hopefully I will get to ride tomorrow to test them out and no more back riding up on me because they zip to the pants

Great review I thought of selling my gray jacket to get Red to match my RT

Questuon: Do they offer the ability to attach to your Caliber riding pants? If so; have you tried hooking them together?
Okay: TWO questions! :gaah: sorry... :opps: :D

Yea & yes  They even have the jacket zipper mounted on elastic just in case there is a little more tug. :clap:All Can Am gear zippers are the same. My leather zips to it too. First Gear has a different zipper though as I assume some manufactures use their own and may be some are compatible with Can Am

Thanks!! :2thumbs: I have always liked the ability to eliminate sources for drafts...
Your setup gives you the one-piece riding suit's non-draftiness; coupled with a whole ton of flexibility in how you wear the pieces!

:agree: I like this feature... especially on longer rides & rainy weather

One addition item of interest is they come with both halves of the zipper so if you have other pants you can sew 1/2 onto them and still be able to zip the jacket to them. I did this with my Can Am leather pants ( Can Am pants come with both too) took the top part off them and sewed it to my non Can Am leather jacket.

I have also owned a Caliber jacket from day one (2008) and like it a lot. Would also highly recommend if you want some genuine BRP stuff.

I did a couple hour ride yesterday and the only complaint I have is the neck wasn't tight enough to prevent air intrusion. That is easy to fix with my balaclava and might actually be a plus in warmer weather. Other than that it kept me toasty warm and was very comfortable with my Can leather pants zipped to it. Can't wait to use it in warmer weather with the liner out and all the venting opened to see how that works.
