There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Call out to Virginia Spyder owners - Woodbridge Dealer?

Does anyone know anything about the spyder dealer in Woodbridge Virginia? Are they a good dealer? Do they know their stuff mechanically?

The only Can-Am dealer in Woodbridge, VA I know of is Coleman Powersport. They usually have at least one of each model on the floor and have a smattering of Can-Am wear available. They are NOT a Can-Am only dealership, so their mechanics are busy working on every kind of motorcycle on a daily basis. A couple have been trained to service Can-Am products. I purchased my 2012 RT-S there.

The wait time can be considerable for service on a Spyder, so I choose to have my service done at other dealerships - once in Fredericksburg and more often at a very fine shop in PA. Quite a few folks in the northern Virginia area go to the Fredericksburg dealership or others a bit farther out for a variety of reasons.

I guess I am more concerned about spyders assembled there. Was there any problems in that area? I know it can make a big difference where the spyders are assembled.

They recently got a new sypder tech. I have not had the opportunity to chat with him, so not sure of his experience

I have used their service in the past but not any more. It's took them 3 weeks to fix a oil leak on my Spyder; a week to diagnose it, a week for the part to arrive and another week to put the part on after it arrived. This is unacceptable to me and I have not been back for service since then which was March 2013. I have learned to do a lot of the maintenance myself because of this experience.

They are the closest dealer to me (15 miles) and I use them for parts and sometimes they have good sales. They also have a location in Falls Church, VA.

I now travel a little over 100 miles to Motosports in Hanover, PA for service and I purchased my new Spyder from them. They have positive reviews and only sell and service Polaris and Can Am products. The tech is certified and he has been working on Can Am products for over 18 years.

Coleman has the Beltway monopoly on Spyders and Spyder service. As stated, they sell and service more than Spyders. Their service departments operate on a "first come, first serve" philosophy; I rarely, if ever, get anything through them in less than a week, usually two (this is true for *any* bike, not just the Spyders).

I've never dealt with the sales department, but I've heard nothing offensive. Their accessories and parts departments are first-rate (Melissa in accessories at Falls Church is fantastic). The mechanic service is straightforward; no personal touch, but competent. Unfortunately, like everything in the area, they are expensive, particularly for Spyder service.

I don't mind paying a premium for convenience-- Coleman Falls Church is just a few miles from my door, easy to get to and back-- but I wish they were far, FAR faster. Pay a lot for fast service, or pay little for slow service, but to pay a lot for slow service... ugh.

That said, there are other dealers further out that charge less for work, and some even work on an appointment, "while you wait" basis, if you're willing to hike. I personally used Trumbull Motorsports out in Mechanicsville, MD, for some same-day installations. Good service at a good price, but out in the middle of nowhere-- they don't even have a waiting room, I ended up napping in the middle of the parking lot against a Sea-Doo crate. nojoke
