• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OK, OK, CALL ME A JERK, or whatever else you care to call me.... :yikes:

when the
F3 was first announced and shown, i made a statement that if you painted it green and the rims yellow, it would look like my JOHN DEERE Lawn Tractor... :dontknow:

well i never did get over the front ends looks... and i just turned a 'blind-eye' to it... the more i looked at those pictures and others that came up, the more this beast grew on me.... well, yesterday i tool one for a ride at
POWERSPORTS of GREENVILLE, here in South Carolina...

well
today i bought one... :ohyea: OK OK, so i'm eating my words, don't rub it in... this is truly a BEAST... that 1330 with the 6 speed is light-years ahead of my '09 RS.... I HAD TO HAVE IT... :gaah: come on guys, give me a break, please forgive me for my earlier foolish statements, PLEASE....?

i bought a
Silver/Black F3-S, SE6 with a number of options... and i was the FIRST one at this location to purchase one... i should receive delivery during the 1st week in February...

see you on the road.....

Would you like some sauce with the Crow Sandwich? :roflblack::roflblack:

:congrats: on your new purchase. I really do have a feeling that you are going to like the F3. I am partial to the orange/black speedmonster looking version myself.

peer pressure and test rydes can work wonders. It will have its market and there will be other that will change over. Congrats on the new ryde..!! :2thumbs: if it grew on you and the ryde convinced you you will be a happy couple...

It takes a bigger man, not a jerk, to admit he changed his mind or was wrong. But if you want we can call you that. ;) Congrats on the new machine.

Dan when you told me you wished the RS would have a 1330 in it, I said "Well what about the F3?" I figured you would love it when you test rode it and I was right!!!!

Compared to the RS (which I owned) or RSS (never owned), the F3 is a huge upgrade. For the RT, not so much. I HAVE ridden the F3, and I still prefer the RT, which meets many needs that the F3 does not.

When the RT came out, I didn't think I would like it more than my (hugely) farkled RS, but I rode one, and immediately sold my RS - never looked back.

So just enjoy your new ryde.

I won't call you a jerk but MAN... Are your posts hard to read with all the text sizes and colors....
I usually DON'T read them as my eyes go screwy!

I could barely read it! So for that..... not a jerk but sheesh...... You should write comic strips or something :roflblack:

MAN

Well; it ought to JERK you back in the seat pretty well... :congrats:

MAN-O-MAN BOB, DOES IT EVER.....
I did a lot of drag racing as a young man, and BY FAR, this is the most fun with wheels that i've ever witnessed... i thought my RS was a quick little toy... those of you that haven't ridden the 1330 will witness a thrill like never b4.... i had to go to my eye doctors after my test ride, so she could pull my eye-balls out from the back of my head..... AWESOME RIDE Bob..... go get1.... :roflblack:
Dan

20 degrees

CONGRATS!!!! Tell us about the test ride.

test ride was accomplished in 20 degree F weather.... clear sky, no wind....
about 18 miles total...
the thing i like/hated most, was the SE6 tranny..... i loved it because it was so fast n smooth... hated it because it was so fast n smooth that i didn't know if it shifted.... i had to look at the gauge cluster to see if i was in the next higher gear, AWESOME... another thing that is very impressive: i came down to 35 mph in 5th gear and slam the gas... this thing didn't hesitate for a milli-second, it just got up and screamed..... way more power than my 998 RS....
now i need to go see my doctor and get some sleeping pills to last me until February.... i know i'm not going to get a good nights sleep for at least 3 weeks if i don't...... :roflblack:

That's EXACTLY what I'm afraid of. :yikes: My dealer will have them in stock in just a few more months. I know I'll be test riding one soon. I'm just praying that I'll have the strength to resist temptation.
