• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I remember something about this in relation to the Apple Car. It was around car sharing and the car being able to be 'transferred to your registration' while you were using it.

Something like that.

that's pretty cool, I like that. Not only from a tech but also from a green standpoint.

Curious though, I wonder how "hackable" it is.

Yikes...!!!

i can see more problems than it's worth...there is a video out there with these and they have them changing numbers and states as they go along the highway and even a retractable one for the front for when you enter states that require two plates..:yikes:

What they say above.

Technology? Wonderful? Look at the cost. $699 plus $7 per month. This will be comparable to some states already.

However, I am liking my FREE, PERMANENT plate for seniors in Alaska. We get one of those per family. The MC still cost me $200 each every two years.

And the possibilities are becoming endless for Big Brother to watch us even more.

I am against the "new" plates.
