• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

California Emmissions Requirement

 I would be cautious about mentioning your Wife, and using the term "Iron Butt"; in two sentences that are in such close proximity... :yikes:
I'd edit that post, and stuff some more info into it as "Padding"! :D

We worked on a 2013 RT yesterday that was being registered in Utah since it could not be registered in CA where the owner lives. He said the DMV showed him the label on his Spyder and the CA compliant label and they are different. I believe that his can be registered in CA after it hits a certain mileage threshold, this Spyder was purchased used from outside of CA. So check before you buy if you live in the land of fruit and nuts (but not all Spyders)

That is correct for a 2013 RT. There is a specific California model. That means the North America model does not comply. But the OP asked about a 2015 RT and there is no California model.

Official From DMV

So this just in from CA DMV. If the vehicle is labeled on the frame as a 50 state vehicle, then all you need is a bill of sale and the clear title in order to get it registered in the State of California. If it is a 49 state vehicle and you bring it into California and try to register the vehicle it will be rejected, and according to DMV, it will never be able to be registered in the state again, even when it is over 7500 miles and a now used vehicle.
