• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Calci Windscreen

My 2010 RTS SE5 has the original screen which I'm finding too tall even in the lowest position and I'm contemplating buying a Calci screen either a 21.5 or 23 inch and seeking forum members experience before committing to buy. I want to look over and not through and get some cool air on hot days. I'm 5'10
Reading their website, the screen is designed to cut down on turbulence and stop buffeting.

Some of my questions are,

With the vent, does that offer protection from rain or do you get wet?
If it is raining with the screen extended, does the water pass over your helmet?
Can I leave it on for winter or is it too cold with the vent?
Does it cut out turbulence/buffeting?

I have thought about cutting my screen down and putting a vent in however at this stage I'm prepared to spend some $$. Any other information would be appreciated.
