• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

October 10 th we are going to leave for Cabo! There are going to be three of us on the ride. Two Harley's and my 2011 RT-S, we are leaving from Prescott AZ 1,373 miles later we will be in Cabo. We are looking forward to the ride, hope we have no issues. We plan on taking three days to make the trip. Not real sure what kind of road conditions we will in counter on the Mexican hyw. We normally ride between 500 to 600 miles per day, (but that is in the USA). I have ridden with these Harley's for many miles. One of the guys insisted " trikes to the back" that was short lived when I would push him through the twisties (thanks Bajarons sway bar love that thing).
Anyone ever make the trip down the Baja Peninsula? We are crossing into Mexico at Tecate follow Mexico 3 to Mexico 1 then all the way down to Cabo. We visit Cabo San Lucas every October but always fly. This will be the first trip by motorcycles, of course the girls chose to fly. Can't wait to make the trip! Thought about riding my CBX but don't think I can give up the comfort of the Spyder.

Have a good trip..!!

I am listed in "spyders to the rescue" and live about 20 miles from the Tecate border crossing. If you should need of anything or just a rest stop let us know..enjoy your trip the roads are good...

I've been as far south as Puerto Escondido. The road isn't great and the drivers can be crazy. Beautiful scenery. Not much help if you have issues. Fuel can be a problem. I'd take some extra if you have room.

Sounds like a great trip! Wish I were going!

You lucky guy

Carry fuel, fuel fuel. I love Cabo but have not made the trip on a bike. I recently met a guy in Guatemala that had come from California on a bike and was on his way back. He told me that fuel was his biggest issue as well as finding good water. He was on a budget and sometimes had to camp out at night. He said that the people he met along the way were very friendly and helpful.
Enjoy your adventure. Life can be so great when you choose to live it like you stole it!
The Captain!
