Buying an RT cup holder as a gift. Handlebar size question.

Has anyone had any success in installing this ram mount strap on their RT? Just looking to see what the diameter of the bars are.

This model fits a max of 2.1 inches. Thanks.

I have successfully used this mount for my GPS on my 2009 GS that is also equipped with KewlMetal risers and Kyryakyn ISO GRIPS. It fit well, and I was a bit surprised how good it looks. I thought the band might show but you really have to look for it.

Thanks. I guess that I'm just worrying that the RT bars may be too large for the clamp.

I have this mount and the supplied hose clamps are too short to reach around the RT handlebar. But for an easy fix go to the nearest parts store and get a large hose clamp (yes it is big!) and just cut the excess off. I left enough free end to slip into the rubber sleeve provided with the mount. Works great and I use the mount interchangeably, sometimes with a cup holder and other times I put on a Ram "X" mount for my phone.

I've this style as well wand I used the clamp that came with it with no issues.
