Buy the ISCI Handbrake!
The quality of the handbrake system is outstanding. No drilling or cutting, it is a simple bolt on product. It performs as described, stopping my Spyder as effectively as the footbrake. I have ridden Harleys for 38 years but I am now an above knee right leg amputee and the ISCI Handbrake system got me back on the road.
The only thing better than the Handbrake is ISCI’s Customer Service. I work with many companies via internet and phone and have found ISCI to be completely focused on the customer. The staff is friendly, accessible, and knowledgeable.
Jeff K even communicated with me after hours to resolve an installation issue that that turned out to be a BRP factory defect. He was helpful beyond measure even though the problem had nothing to do with his product.

I had to go to a trike due to right hip problems. The RT was the choice for me. The ISCI brake system was one of the first things. Rode down to Montgomery on a Sunday afternoon in Oct of 2011, stayed about 2 miles away, got there at 8 AM and was out of there and back home 60 north of ATL for dinner Got the system installed, along wth the tall flag kit and added the modified lever when it came out later. It decreases the distance from the grip to the lever. Made it more satisfactoryfor my use due to a messed up right shoulder - Which was operated on yesterday and is making me a lefty on the key board for a while. You could not deal with people any better than Darrell and the professionals down there. The Spyder products are a small part of their business, which is high class specialty products (like the name infers) for whomever has high class $$. Superb all the way around.
