• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Button under co-pilot seat

For a lack of a better description, what does the large black button
under the co-pilot seat do on my F3S?? Just curious.

it's the switch that senses if you have a passenger riding with you. It changes the way the ABS brake map and the fuel map react due the extra weight on the bike.

Dang, that was fast guys!! Man, that nanny is one busy creature.
Much appreciated.

C'mon Dray, they're obviously having you on!!

A big black button like that under a seat can only mean one thing - it's the ejection seat!! :yikes:

:joke: Sorry, but someone really just had to say it! :opps: ;)

There you have it....

but the added feature is to make people worry and wonder...:roflblack: is a nice feature and helps with the ryde... The nanny is a busy one but can be annoying at times...:banghead:

It changes the fuel map based on weight???? That would mean that if I weigh 150 and my wife weighs 100, it will change the map. But, it doesn't change the map for a 250 pound solo rider which is the same weight as our 150 + 100? It would really surprise me to see the fuel map changed based on weight as the engines AFR requirements don't change with weight.

No change to the fuel map. it's a Vehicle Stability System input only.

O.K., not only are you fast but good too. To carry things one step further,
I would like to have a paintball gun on my scoot that had real paint so I properly
notify the cage driver idiots that they should remove themselves from the gene
pool. Am I to harsh?

I got the info about the fuel map from the dealer. You don't think they would tell me an untruth; do you? :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

..... a paintball gun ...... real paint ...... Am I to harsh? ....

No, too harsh? Not at all!

Bit kind really, I was working on a running pair of 50 cal's sticking out the fog light slots, loaded with live ammo, every 5 one incendiary!!! :yikes: THAT oughta make the point & get thru to them!! Well, it'd at least 'get thru' them, right thru!! But I s'pose the paintball option might be a little more 'PC' & acceptable... :( nowhere near the fun tho! :gaah:

Hey Peter. From what we in the States hear about Australian gun laws, you folks would be lucky to even be allowed the paint ball gun.

You're not wrong there!! Our law-abiding citizens aren't even allowed to leave a paint-ball gun (or any other type) visible inside their cars or pretty much anywhere outside an 'approved' gun safe!! But of course, none of that applies to the crims & low-lives!! :p
