• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

bushings for windshield

BUSHINGS

anyone know of a source for the bushings, that are in the arms, that raise and lower the windshield on the RT?
There must be a special reason you need to know the SOURCE !!!! ..... But , imho buying some from the dealer is the most cost effective way of getting them........Mike

Can am price $7.62 and I need six of them, the Yankee in me says NO!!!

I was shopping for those also when I changed windshields. I couldn't believe BRP actually charges that much for those little things. I messaged customer service because I thought it was a misprint, but the response was "Nope, not a misprint. That's what we charge for them".:banghead:

Wow...!!

Have you tried cheapcycleparts.com...?? not sure what they look like but could probably have them made...:gaah:

When I took off my windshield to install a backup camera monitor, I found that whoever took off the windshield last lost one and replaced it with a piece of rubber on one side, I decided that 2 rubber washers of the right size would work fine. The metal deal was there if you are missing it, I'm sure that you could find it at Lowes in their specialty bins in hardware, you can probably find the rubber washers there too, I made mine.
