• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Burning Rubber Smell

Good Idea!

It is actually road dirt and debri that get thrown onto the hot Catilytic converter under the bike. I have solved this by wrapping my cat in heat sheilding. You could also do a cat delete and the smell will go away. Its not the belt or the tire. Nothing to really worry about.

My 2016 RTS still smells after riding, have 4K miles on it now. Didn't think of the Cat!

Not unusual

I ride a 2015 F3-S with 4,500 miles on it. I often smell burning rubber when I park it in my garage after a run. I don't think there is anything wrong with the Spyder and think the smell comes from the rear tyre due to my too frisky use of the throttle on the way home. mmmmmm.

Thanks. I have only rode my Spyder three times so far, but I got that smell 2 out 3 times. That explains why.
