Bumpskid

Spyderpops bumpskid. As I was changing LEDS on bump skid I was amazed at the number of scratches on the Bump skid. Some of them pretty deep. I have ridden only on paved roads and have not bottomed out but once that I am aware of and that was coming out of a driveway at very slow speed. I have to say that I think this bumpskid has paid for itself. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FOR THE FIRST fARKLE FOR EVERYONE.

The bumpskid is awesome and I am glad that I have it.:bowdown: I wish they would make a piece to go under the front edge of it for extra wear as mine is getting very thin from rubbing on things. I am afraid it wont be much longer and it will be getting into the LED strip.:banghead:

Pretty sure my bumpskid saved the front of my spyder yesterday. Car in front of me on the fwy kicked up large chunk of a blow out and I couldn't do anything to avoid it. Luckily it was almost back down to the pavement when I hit it. Pretty good jolt but the bike kept going and later when I could stop and check could not even find a mark. Today will raise the bike and look underneath.

I too was surprised at the marks on mine. The Bumpskid is a real bacon saver.

Changing the LEDs??? Is this something that has to be done on the Bumpskid with LEDs?

I killed my LED bumpskid. Came in a little too hot on a cattle guard and took out the lower lip of the grooved part of the bumpskid. No more left half of my LEDs... ended up removing the strip altogether because it looked very odd.

We've gone through two of them -- I guess it depends on how you ride. I'm always shocked to see them on other spyders because we ended up having to pull the LEDs out of both of ours due to breakage.

The bumpskid was my first farkle. A year and a half later it has been abused. Really glad I got it. I do a lot of riding on county roads. The bumpskid is not an option, but a necessity.
