No matter how careful you are you will find a driveway that has an approach that is too steep. It makes a horrible noise on your skid plate. Just think how much worse it would sound if it was grinding off the front lip of your trunk! It's worth the money!

The Bumpskid actually ties all of that bodywork together in a much more solid manner, and then anchors it all firmly to the frame. :2thumbs:

Thanks for the explanation, I don't plan on taking the bumpskid off so IF there is any trash between it and the belly of the trike, so be it.

I would not have removed it but was doing some upgrades and had to remove it and found the things mentioned on the top..

Why does Can Am make these so low to the ground? Is it simply for stability?
