• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BUGS

Bought a boat in 1989 and got wiped off every time when it came out of the water.

Sold it 5yrs ago and stiil looked like the day it came out of the show room.

I am also busy work 11hr. days and even if i ride the spyder to work it still gets wiped down.

And i average over 3miles a day walking
I'm a firm believer if i paid good money it will be taken care of. :firstplace:

I also agree if done on a regular basis only takes about 10min.

I'm a basically lazy old fart.
I give my 12 year old daughter $10, a bottle of Simple Green for the body, and a squirt bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide for the windshield and say,"have at it!"
She turns up the radio in the Garage and
VOILA! Snoopy Sparkles!
Old Man Grizz

 Does she make house calls?

Dirt***************************

I've 2 black motercycles, the :spyder2: , A black magnum R/T and my wife has a black Equinox Sport---- They are all clean and as you know, black shows every flaw and speck of dirt. I paid ( as did you ) plenty for the :spyder2:( could have bought another car) and it, as well as the bikes, are always shiney black. Showroom perfect?? I wish, but the chrome is shiney and the black is well waxed

So , Yes, the Spyder get cleaned after any long ride that gets it dirty

Today my wife and i took a ride. Probably 120 miles.

Lookig at new rvs and had lunch. Anyway we got home and after about an hr. i said i'm going out and wipe the spyder down. She said why you have got enough wax and detailer on it the bugs should slide off.

Am i obsessed i wipe spyder down after everyride :dontknow:

DOES ANYONE ELSE DO THIS ?????? :doorag:

Yes yes & yes

Well..!!

Only when it needs it. Sometimes I manage to go between the bugs and come home clean. :yikes: but not often. For sure three or four times a month... I use Protect all, Plexus, Black Diamond or Pledge which ever comes out of the box. They all keep the bugs from petrifying on the panels...:ohyea:

It is clean when I start and cleaned when I am done with a ride. I was raised by an anal German Father so I am an anal German Son......we believe in pride and caring for what we worked so hard to have.

So................ yes I do ! :yes::thumbup::clap::joke::clap:
