Place a wet (hot) towel on the windshield or affected area for several minutes, rinse off with cold water problem solved.
I use a 50/50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. Spay on wherever bugs are, let set for couple minutes, wipe clean with WET microfiber cloth, then dry with a DRY microfiber cloth. I have done this for 2 years with excellent results and NO scratches anywhere.
Lay a wet towel on the windshield for a while and most will come off easily. Hydrogen peroxide can help with the rest. To be honests, almost anything wet does the job. While wet, a fingernail will scrape off the worst ones without scratching the windshield.
Just don't chew your fingernails afterward.
Anne,I just saw a story on the evening news that 17 year Cicadas are going to awaken in the next few weeks in North Carolina. :yikes: That news could actually make me reconsider attending the Owners Event. I can vividly remember a similar outbreak in Illinois when I was a teen. YUCK
Anne,
A quick question: what happened with Nebraska? :roflblack:
Lamont posted a while back about a product used on aircraft. Still searching, will post when I find it.
Nothing against Nebraska it just hasn't crossed my path yet!
I was just curious; it seems as if you've worked your way around it...
I was worried that it have been something that they said? :roflblack:
Bear in mind that my map has more blank spots than a multiple choice; fill in the box, standardized test!pps:
I did go through there in a car and they have lots of those CAFOs (Consolidated Animal Feeding Operations) which translates to many stinky miles. Tolerable in a car but could be deadly on your Spyder. :roflblack:
