There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We take an abundance of large towels and soak them in really hot water, we then drape them all over the windshield and Tupperware. We let them soak for a good 20 minutes or so. We are then able to take this same damp towels and easily remove all of the bugs. Dry with dry clean soft towels then follow up with a little Lamonster Black Daimond Detailer, and you are good to go. BTW, the Bkack Diamond creates a surface that bugs don't stick too very well so this will aid in the next wash:yes:!

After a ride I put a dab of dish soap on any bugs and just leave it there until I wash the Spyder.....It usually dissolves them.......Mike :bbq:

Water with a little Hydrogen Peroxide mixed in.
A dryer sheet in a spray bottle of water. Loosens bugs, puts a nice polish on the bike, and....smells good too. :clap:

Same here. Terrible bugs in FL, especially love bugs in May and Sept. and this really works great.

We got a sample of this at the SEMA show last year and it works great. Also, the polishing cloth is awesome for everything from removing bugs on your Spyder to polishing stainless steel in your house.

I got some stuff called bugslide and it works real well. It's even fingerprint proof on black paint.

Honda Cleaner and others
+1 for Honda Spray Cleaner. Dawn dish cleaner has worked well for me. It's what they use to clean up oil soaked waterfowl. Especially good it you have lots of bugs.
Plexus is very good and pricey!
I've also heard that Pledge is good and have a can on the shelf for when the others are used up.
Elbow grease is a great additive for all of the above.

I keep a small bottle in the frunk. It comes with a cloth. Works really well to remove bugs off windscreen in between stops.

Down here is Florida, when the love bugs show up, you can not beat dryer sheets. The tissue looking things you throw in to reduce static. All you have to do is rinse down the area, take a dryer sheet and wipe, not rub, and the bugs just disappear. I know, sound hookey, and I poo-pooed it when I heard about it, but the guy who told me also showed me, and by golly, it works.. Keep in mind, do not rub, just let the sheet wipe the area, and don't let it dry out until the bugs are gone. I was a big disbeliever, but now keep some on the vehicle so if it gets really bad I can take them off sooner than waiting until I get back home. Love bugs have to be the most corrosive critters on the planet and will ruin a paint job. Try it, you'll like it, or keep on doing what ever you're doing. It's your call.
