• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BUDS version number info

This was asked a couple years ago with no real answer except to ask your dealer. Maybe things have changed since then.

It seems since you can recall limp mode codes, you should be able to view what version of BUDS you are running in a similar way.

Does any know the button combination to pull up the BUDS version info?

Is there a website that will tell you what the current version available is?

Don't know..!!

you have to plug the roadster into the buds system on a computer. The button combo only brings up active codes at the moment after that it goes to memory and can only be retrieved by the computer hook up. You can get the program original and generic (expensive)....:dontknow:

Things have not changed...see your dealer. BTW, it isn't the BUDS version you are in need of. BUDS is the BRP diagnostic system. The dealer needs the latest version. It will determine whether your Spyder needs firmware updates to any of its modules.
