• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spotted this a couple weeks ago when out riding to the coast and headed home. This is one of our bucket list rides.

If you get up that way you have to ride the Kancamangus highway in New Hampshire, it is beautiful.
:agree: I have been on the Kancamangus Highway several times. The Kancamangus Highway stretches across the White Mountains for 34.5 miles, before you get on the Kancamangus highway be sure to get gas. You can get on the Kancamangus highway in Lincoln, or Conway, New Hampshire.

There are no gas stations, great vista stops, and be sure to take a ride on the Bear Notch Road( which runs north/south). That road is a awesome spyder road, a lot of twisties. You can reach the Bear Notch Road in the Town of Bartlett, New Hampshire on Route 302 east/ west.

Also, be sure to visit the Mount Washington Area, that is also pretty. The Kancamangus Highway runs west/east. Deanna

We did it there and back in 2004 -- doing it again on the Spyder, summer 2017 :D

Interesting. ...

I find it interesting that they would have those destinations on signs in those locations. I find you can hardly find a sign for the next city along the way...:roflblack:

Heading that way when we go to Laconia bike week will ride the kakamungus it will be my second time there
Kancamagus highway is "A National Scenic Byway" Route # 112 in Lincoln to Conway New Hampshire. Be sure to take a ride on the "Bear Notch Road" ( which runs north/south) this is on other fantastic spyder road. It also has Scenic over looks areas.

From Conway to North Conway Route 302 ( north/south )they have a Conway Scenic Railroad, Outlet stores, restaurants, hotels/motels. In the same area be sure to see/visit Mount Washington ( which is the Highest mountain on the east coast), Flume Gorge, The Basin, Crawford Notch, The White Mountain National Forest, Franconia Notch, State Park. If you are riding on Route 3 north of Pittsburg, ride this 13 mile scenic roadway with caution, which is known as "Moose Alley".

For more info go to www.RideNH.net. I have ridden thru the above area several times. Deanna

That's on of my bucket list tours. But I'd have to do it in two parts - from Kansas each way.

It's odd that it's 36 miles longer if you are going east-to-west.

My bad. Atlantic City, New Jersey is the eastern end of Hwy 30. I plan to ride 30 east, and 20 west from Boston to Newport, OR., summer of '18.
