Another carcinogen concern, something else to worry about.
I'm not surprised about this news ...... I stopped using " deodorants " about a decade ago, :gaah: !!!!! ..... I'm not an odor-ologist, :roflblack: however I concluded that deodorant was just like spray painting your underarms ....ie. a toxic substance that sealed your pores ..... So I began using 70% isopropyl alcohol (the rubbing kind ) - - My thoughts were the Alc would actually Kill most bacteria , rather than seal it under your skin ..... so far my theory about this has worked. .... When I apply it in the AM it certainly invigorates and wakes me up  and even if I perspire later it doesn't smell ..... just say-in .... Mike .. It also is a money saver ... I just checked Walmart pricing on a Qt. of 70% Alc @ $2.18 .... the least expensive deodorant is Mennon Speed stick 3 oz. @ $ 1.63 .... yes the Alc is more expensive, however it will last 4-5 mo. to use it all ... that one stick might last a month ....you do the math
Another user of 70% Alc here. it works, and it is inexpensive.
Wished it worked from the inside out rather than from the outside in. You know JD, Old Crow, and so on. :roflblack:
I wonder sometimes why folks worry about the long term health effects of a product yet have no problem jumping on machines with the highest likelihood of injury and death. :dontknow::banghead:
Wow! I'm gonna' get into trouble for sure here. A Spyder forum and you're talking about armpits, really!!
First, look up the difference between a deoderant and an antipersperant, one coats, the other neutralizes.
Second, sweat DOES stink! And it's not bacteria, unless you don't bathe regularly; ANY decent bar soap is enough to kill what little bacteria resides in your armpits (btw, there's more in your mouth). Don't use rubbing alcohol, it's drying, and an irritant. Your armpit odor is from hormones (or poor nutrition), primarily testosterone; that's why men have less body odor as they age (if you eat roasted garlic, you'll understand the nutrition thing). ASK A DOCTOR!
Third, alcohol is best applied from the inside!
I told my wife about this thread, she rolled her eyes, and I walked away with my head down. Just sayin' guys!

One is choice. Also if you are referring to our Spyders, I disagree on how you view them.
