There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. BRP Wind Deflectors

Could someone post some pics of the new BRP Wind Vent Deflectors. I would like to see some of both the clear and chrome. Going to purchase one or the other but want to make sure I make the right choice. Thanks for any help you can give.

AIR WINGS BRP

Picking up the Crome ones on Sunday in Baldwin :joke:at Peacocks. My Dealer.
I hope they are easy to install?! I'll take pictures and post This the
comeimg week only doing the lower set first.:f_spider:

Teddy got the Chrome version, which of course, is really just plastic painted to look like chrome :lecturef_smilie:

 Pricey

Notice alot more air flow around my legs & knees when adjusted

Frankly, I'm disappointed with mine. I expected more directional control of the air than I'm getting. It does seem just a little bit more around the legs from the knee down, no matter what position the deflectors are in. I could have spent that $130 on something more useful. On the other hand, the adjustments are very positive and you can easily reach down and change as you go.

Wind deflecters

I got the dealer to install mine, got the chrome ones since everything else is chromed, the only thing I have to complain about is the way they adjust, kinda have to get use to pulling them at an angle to adjust them, you get the hang of it after awhile.

Dave ;)

I have the clear (or opaque) and added to the effect of my Air Wings I get plenty of air flow and I know it will be more comfortable for the mid summer riding.

A plus

Had the opaque installed by Pitbull Powersports while at Spyderfest . I am realllly appreciating the extra air now. I also have baker air wings .. Would not want to ryde without either. I say .

It's too early to tell for sure; I think that since I'm running mine open, I'm getting better fuel economy!
NOTE: open, but not channeling any extra air in toward the rider!
Prior to them being on the bike; I had been getting approximately 30 mpg.
I'm now getting 33 mpg with no other changes...
It's still too early to know for sure if they are the reason for this or not. ;)

I wasn't going to say anything but I can't tell they do anything but make the wind blow on my pant legs. I think they may actually help in the summer but they don't keep wind FROM hitting u.

I'm trying to understand why you are disappointed. These will not reach over the knew because of the location. I like them because it keeps the cold air away from my knees down and then it vents air to my knees when it gets warm.

If you need more air flow, especially on top, you can get the vented windshield. Photo 2013-05-07 06.50.57 PM.jpg

Thanks

Thanks for the pics and comments. Heading to the dealer tomorrow to order some clear ones. Worth a shot even if it adds just a little extra air to legs and crotch area. Going to check into a vented windshield also.
