• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I also bought my Spyder in July and I received my Welcome package on Friday with the Spyder owners pin and patch. I was just wondering how to get my 5K pin? I have over 6300 miles and would like to have the 5K ....just cus. I followed the directions in the letter and went to the CanAm web site but it looks like they took out the link in the Community section. So if anyone knows how to apply or if they even have the pin any more I'd appreciate hearing about it. Thanks
 
Bought my Spyder back at the end of last July.

Got the Welcome packet last week. No gift card, just the catalog of WAY to expensive farkles (Yes a $700 jacket is a farkle!), a patch and a pin.

Interesting that the packet mentions the 5k, 25k etc pins but when you follow the directions listed, there is no link on the site for the program.
 
I requested my 5K in May, now I have over 10K and still haven't received the 5K.

Talked with BRP today. They have discontinued this program. There is a list you can be added to if you call in case they come across any overstock.
 
We could get together and have spyderlovers mileage stickers/pins made :). This is the replacement for a BRP sponsored support community right?

The bikes are made here in Canada, but we pay more for them then they do in the US, not to mention we always end up last when it comes to the new models coming out and the demo rides. You would think BRP would look after their own first. Why would our American neighbours get a surprise gift in the mail and not us Canadians?
 
Welcome Pack

Bought my spyder 07-11-14 and got my pack with pin and patch today 10-15-14. No record for sure, but faster than many I have heard about. Thanks BRP. ;)
