There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. BRP "Welcome To The Family" Package Arrived today

Perhaps you had a mis delivery, of mail theft...

That is an extended waiting period.

Did you buy the extended warranty? ;-)

Chas

I got my "Welcome to the Family" Packet today(Oct. 10,2014) in the mail from BRP,:clap::2excited: I bought my spyder on July 30,2014. WOHOO. Only 2 months and 10 days of waiting.

I did not get a $50.00 gas card, but I got a 2014 Riding Gear/Accessories/ Genuine Parts catalog with a patch/pin. I got cards to hand out to people, and a Congratulations letter. Last month I did get my BRP Extended Service (B.E.S.T WARRANTY)

Bob, I bet you will be getting your "Welcome to the Family" Packet in the mail soon I. Thanks BRP!
Deanna

Got bike in April 2014, got packet in August 2014.
I need to open it to see if I got a gift card.

Went to Can-Am bike night last weekend and won 1st place.....a $100 gift card for the dealership. Since it was bike night they had discounts on everything so now I have about 5 nice Can Am shirts, very nice deal for me.

2 years ago when I bought my 2012RTS-SE5 I got my "Welcome to Family Packet" in the mail in Sept. of 2012. Deanna

Did you purchase the B.E.S.T. Warranty?

If so, did you receive the certificate paper with the card attached, this paper will say on the bottom when your "Coverage expires, VIN# of your spyder, year and Model, Type of Coverage. ( Regular etc.) Deanna

Still waiting...

EIGHT Months, and two days... :gaah:

Just received mine today!
Bought it mid / end of August so better than some (Sorry Bob!)

No gift card though I think for the price I paid I'm surprised I got anything! :joke:

Glad to hear it has arrived Deanna!

The $50.00 gift card I received was more than likely, presented to me, for my participation in a short BRP survey/questionnaire which I filled out/in, online.

SOME OF YOU MIGHT HAVE RECIEVED AN INVITATION FOR THIS IN THE MAIL ALSO??
There was an awesome grand prize of $5,000.00

If not, I'm sorry... Perhaps Contact BRP...

Not sure who won the Can Am Side By Side?

Chas

Received mine yesterday. If I take it with a dollar bill to the local diner I can buy a cup of coffee. No $50 gift card here.

Interesting subject all over again. The welcome packages hit early, late, and sometimes never. Where oh where are you going to fall into the mix? :roflblack:

I am wondering if it has to do with dealer input and registration of the warranty paperwork? We have also speculated BRP seems to send the packets quarterly. If you miss the quarterly mailing, you are stuck for another three months.

In most cases, I received my packets within three to six months. Did not get a $50 gift card with my 2014 purchase. Interesting mix of goodies also. I received patch, pin, cards (about 50), and about 5 videos to pass out with the 2008.

In 2009, I got patch, a pin that said Ambassador 2009 (no free Spyder to use and no appearances scheduled though ):roflblack:, a beautiful photo album to put pictures in, and some cards and a video. The ex snarfed the photo album and pictures. :roflblack: Guessing the "extras" were because I was an early purchaser of two :spyder2:'s.

Got usual packages for the 2010, 2011, and the 2014. The 2014 one arrived very quickly.

A great mystery of life--maybe someone will tell us the "backstory?"

Got my packet yesterday (bought over July 4th weekend.) The quarterly mailing theory makes sense.

No $50 gas card.

Trb--

Bob

They just stopped sending packets out to Cognac owners.

maybe yours was sent out before the stop order was initiated.

My welcome pack for the 2010 came about 2 months after I bought the Spyder.
It was a nice box with the Spyder Ryder pin and a patch, catalog, and those give away cards.
My welcome pack for the 2014 Spyder came in a package, after about 6 weeks, not a box, but the contents were essentially the same.
2010 pin says Spyder Ryder. 2014 pin says Spyder Owner.
No gift certificate

Not complaining.........just adding information to the mix.
